This quilt is a riff on the traditional log cabin barn raiser design. The rich blacks contrast elegantly with the lighter sage and lavender elements giving this quilt a striking graphic feel. I machine pieced this quilt using linen fabric which I dyed with plants grown in my dye garden and foraged locally. The batting is organic cotton and the hand quilting is stitched with cotton sashiko thread.
