Cait Nolan is an artist, educator and farmer based in New Jersey, USA. The small farm where Cait and her partner subsistence garden with their 30-50 chickens and 2 cats is part of Lenapehoking, the ancestral unceeded land of the Lenni-Lenape.
In her most recent artistic work she creates heirloom quilts using fabric that she dyes with plants grown on her small farm and that she forages locally.
Cait is inspired by the cyclical nature of plant growing. Her work embraces seasonality and creativity born from limitation.
Cait hosts fresh leaf indigo dyeing and other workshops at her farm studio.
