  • The majority of the workshops that I teach take place at my farm in Williamstown, NJ.

  • I do not typically sell plant dyed yardage. I will occasionally do remnant sales.

  • My background is in Fine Art and I have been sewing since childhood.

    My partner bought me some Japanese Indigo seeds in 2018 and I quickly became engrossed in learning everything I could about plant and mineral dyeing.

  • I have limited availability for in-person private plant & mineral dyeing sessions.

    My rate for private in-person instruction is $100/hr with a two hour minimum.

  • I try to exclusively use only home grown, or foraged dye stuff. This includes traditional commercial dye plants that I grow on my farm like madder, weld and variety of indigo baring plants as well as foraged leaves, barks and roots that have been historically used by home dyers.
